Jesus, everything you said in that entire paragraph was completely deluded and wrong. Stairway To Heaven is not one of my favorite solos, but it's not stolen lol. Unless you're talking about the acoustic riff at the beginning, which sounds like Spirit by Taurus. And it doesn't matter that Comfortably Numb is slow, in fact the slower solos are better and more melodic. There is no other guitar solo that has ever been as thrilling as Comfortably Numb. And the Beatles are terrible? THE BEATLES bruh god please help this kid. They're not one of my favorite bands, but I still acknowledge that they are, without a question, the best band of all time. Now, about Eruption. This solo is just really fast, and there's no melody to it. It's the most overrated solo of all time and Eddie Van Halen has so many better solos. (Example: Beat It) And to assume I listen to generic pop music and don't have taste is so dumb. I don't listen to any pop music at all and I can tell you that Eruption is straight up not enjoyable. Eddie is absolutely the best guitar player in my generation if not ever. He's proven this many times over. He is also a total musical freak! I am sure he holds more patents that any other guitar player. But it still comes down to which band and musical style you prefer. Jimmy Page playing " Stairway to Heaven " is beautiful, but not the best solo ever.
