The transition from Money to this song is so smooth and gradual. Dick Parry's saxophone performance is right up there as one of the greatest sax performances of all time. David Gilmour's vocals provide the feeling of not being sane, and when Richard Wright comes in with his harmonies, it is like the sanity has completely gone. Time is surely the best song, but I prefer Us and Them to any song on the album. I just don't understand how money ranks higher in some polls. This is far better.
