", "YOUR NAME" MADE ME CRY SO MUCH! 1! 1! 1" A Silent Voice has a real moral behind it and hits hard for those who have experienced bullying or have grown up around it. For me it was a real "tear jerker" because I have been bullied before and the trip the main character takes to redeem himself despite his anxiety. It is a true representation of redemption, love, and friendships. Plus, the music and timing of the music is perfect and even the regular soundtrack just makes tears swell up in my eyes. Make this higher please. Also if you love Stand by Me you will love this movie!

This is my #1 favorite movie. not #1 favorite anime movie but out of all the movies in the world, this is #1 in my book. I love the characters development and it teaches you that your sins will always follow you. it shows you that karma will always hit you back. even though Nishinoya bullied that girl, I felt really bad for him when he grew up because he changed. obviously, what he did was bad, but he was reborn a completely different person. this movie made me cry so hard. honestly, this movie is so well made and what makes it sadder is that this stuff happens in real life. I definitely recommend watching it!

This coming from a guy who normally only watches action anime I gotta say I love this movie a lot it is easily the best anime movie ever and prolly one of the best movies ever, I loved the way he changed from being a bully and prolly the coolest guy In school to the guy no one talks to then becoming a normal guy the only part that wasn't the best was how they never ended up dating like we all know they are going to right after but still I wish at the end they would of done something better than teach me how to live mabey like be the reason I want to live or something like that well who knows mabey they did and the dub sucked and also I still don't understand why she tried to kill herself like before he came back I would understand but he seemed to make her want to live why did she decide to kill herself after meeting him and being happy I don't know its just weird no one but her family was happy with her for 18 years she meets him is finally happy and then she decides to kill herself ... more

It really shouldn't have been 14th place when I first checked this list. It was just magical the whole way through with a deep plot and relatable characters even though they are just part of a made up premise of a film. It goes so far into subjects andevry part of it warms you inside and makes you feel. This is actaully an example of doing a film with somebody struck with a mental problem and how to do it amazingly. It's the reasonI want to learn sign language now too! The plot always throws something great at you every few minutes still giving you moments to relax and understand and then you can get caught up in it all the way through. I don't know if I'm the only person who'd say about the music or not but I loved it. The animation is simply gorgeous and we all knew we were in for a pleasure to see when we just gazed at the title. The character are so real as well. Even if you'll end up relating to a bully or a deaf girl, we feel for these characters and our emotions run through it. ... more

Superb movie becauseTouching story filled with love, misunderstandings it's just such a beautiful movie I don't feel I know the words to use to do it justice but this masterpiece is worth the watch, if you enjoy romance, relatable characters, character development and soo much more watch this you can't go wrong

If u ask me..yes Your name was better as it had some really good plot and sci fi genre..but on the other hand this movie being slice of life is much much MUCH more relatable and have a deeep impact as 1 can relate the part where main character was isolated...we all have been lonely at some point of our lives and its beautifully depicted. My favourite movie of all time. Should be number 1. Kimi no nawa might have better animation and fantasy than this, but no other storyline has touched my heart so close. It's so real, painful and heartwarming at the same time. Not to mention an amazing soundtrack too.

Just Stunning, From the beggining to the end I lived most of theses situations when I was a kid, except for the def girl. Made me cry of pain and joy, this movie has nothing in the fiction side. This is a must see.
