Firebird had no demostrable weaknesses, therefore and is never truly defeated. Plus, Firebird has way more mobility, so if these two demons got into a fight, Firebird's approach would be reason enough for the church bells to be sounded off.

Chernabog is no Doubt, the best Disney Villain in the entire franchise. He’s the most powerful and most evil of all. Forget Scar or Frollo! Sure they’re great and have evil in them. But not as successful than the all mighty Chernabog. Who is like the true God or King of all Disney Villains. Maleficent is his Queen and that’s why they should be working together if there’s gonna be a Disney Villains series with all of them together. The rulers are him and Maleficent. No one can top these 2. And think about it, he has given no reason to act evil. He commits evil for fun. Plus, HE’S THE DEVIL! Devils are more evil than anything else.
