Ok I'm a swimmer and I totally agree with this! I even have a shirt that says " if swimming were easy they'd call it football" sure it may be dangerous getting hit and stuff but really? It's not that hard! My Best friend does football and swimming and he even says swimming is a million times harder! Besides at games you sit on the side line half the time and don't even play. And when. You are on the field you're not guaranteed to be running. So what I'm saying here is that football is easy.

Football is hard to coach, and is hard on your body, but it is probably one of the easiest sports to pick up because of how specialized it is. Every player on the football field is assigned one job (with the exception of the TE and FB who must both Run/Catch and block). If you only have one thing to do it is much easier than having multiple things to do. Also because it is a team sport and so specialized their is a spot for everyone on the field. If you can throw: QB, if you are athletic: RB, DB, WR, if you are big: OL, DL. So anyone can be apart of it and it doesn't necessarily take a large skill set to be good.

Oh yeah, you only have to pick a certain play with complicating routes and then pass to the receiver going that way or when you run the ball make sure the back is going through the line or you toss it to him. Also ya need a kicker with kick power stronger than Messi's and make sure your defense perfectly counters the offense. Very easy to play! I know you don't have to be super smart to play this game but could you take a couple hundred pound dude SMASHING into you as you sprint across a huge field trying to get that extra 6 pionts! Didn't think so... I know its not the hardest but it definitively does not deserve to be on this list. Every game SEVERAL injuries happen. P.S. I'm a gymnast, not a Football player...

Football is a difficult sport, I know from personal expirence. It isn't the hardest sport out there, but it's complex. You have to know the play, and what your doing. Cause I you mess up the play could fail. So in some ways it is a hard sport especially as a defensive tackle, and offensive guard/ full-back

I am a gymnast also... Football is defiantly easy compared to gymnasts. Can you do a hop on a 10 cm wide beam? Or can you do a handstand on uneven bars? Or how about tumbling across a floor? Football is basically just running and trying to get to a certain point... Football is easy!
