I grew up with this show and most of the other Cartoon Network shows on this list. However, I stopped watching cartoon shows and movies sometime around 2011, thinking that I outgrew them, and I kept that mind set until 2013, when my older brother bought the complete "ATLA" series on DVD. So I had forgotten about this series until I listed to the theme song, but when I did, I watched the first 24 episodes on YouTube and my love for this show came back full force. It had great characters, great stories, great visuals and always kept me glued to my screen. I may love shows like "Teen Titans" and "Invader Zim", but if you wanted to know what my favorite cartoon is, it would have to be "Code Lyoko".

As soon as this show hit season 2, this instantly became my favorite show. Engaging, semi-realistic, this show connected with me as a kid as it did many others, putting the characters through scenarios similar to everyday school life, while at the same time showing them as heroes in another world. God I miss this show, one of the most creative and inspiring shows that Cartoon Network ever had.

This show was the best. Great story, awesome characters, lots of lessons learned. I learned the importance of loyalty from this show and sticking with friends through thick and thin. Sure, season one wasn't the best in terms of animation, but it's not good animation people look for, it's content. And if you ask me, code lyoko is a winner.

Code Lyoko is my favorite show that aired on Cartoon Network. It has gripping plots, realistic characters (My favorite and one I relate to the most is Yumi), awesome action scenes, a great combination of comedy and drama and has one of the best cartoon theme songs of all time.

This is unbelievably well-written, just as good as Harry Potter, if not better. It's just the first season that's a little less, but after that it kicks off and is amazing. This was in Cartoon Network's top 3 for a few years for a reason.
