Easily the most overrate album of all time. Almost every song is tasteless, bland, boring, and empty, such as "In Bloom," and "Lithium." These aren't bad songs, in fact, they're pretty good, but they're no where near as good as some of the band's other tracks, such as "School," "Dumb," "Frances Farmer," "Love Buzz," etc. It's a good album, but not the band's best, and certainly not one of the best in history. Their other albums are more raw and meaningful, while most songs on here are poppy and boring. Except "Drain You," "Polly," and "Something in the Way." All of those songs are great. - Alpha101

Every song is a effortless master piece. Take out smells like teen spirit and you still have a perfect album. As time goes on I have grown to prefer In Utero but this album turned me on to new music, art and poetry. It manages to encompass exactly how I feel. It makes me cry, scream, dance. I love you Kurt Cobain.
