Honestly, I don't find her as smart as everyone says she is. She does have her moments, but I feel a combination of repeating the same stupid mistakes( underestimating pinkie and thinking magic will solve every problem that isn't social based despite multiple instances of her Magic either not working or making things worse)her multiple mental breakdowns over minor things or things that make no sense and obliviousness to blatantly obvious things( like AJ and Rara fighting or with her "mentoring" of star being pretty bad) makes her seem a lot less intelligent than she potrayed.Honestly I feel Discord is the smartest character in the show, as he has a lot more clever and well thought out moments and strategies than twi has ever had in the show.Call it my opinion but that's how I see it

She is so smart. No wonder she is Princess Celestia's most faithful student and the member of the mane six who became an alicorn. Not only that, her mind is sharper than the others.
