Not a surprise that this movie was a total disappointment as there was nothing much in the book as well. But Yates dissappointed his viewers even more when he even missed out those parts from the book which could have made it a better movie.In the book, Harry rescued Dumbledore till Hogwarts at the climax. However, in the movie Dumbledore rescued Harry to Hogwarts. Perhaps, Yates forgot that Harry had to face the Dark Lord in the next movie and that for that he should have portrayed a stronger character of Harry... Much more than a mere school boy. He even missed out the battle between the Death Eaters and the Order of Phoenix and also Dumbledore's Funeral and laid much stress on unnecessary emotinal aspects of the book. - Yatin

I really liked this film, it was by far for me the best film of the franchise (tied with Deathly Hallows Part 2). My favourite character is Dumbledore, and considering this film more than any other shows the relationship between Harry and Dumbledore, I found it particularly amusing to watch. The fact that this is so low here (behind order of the phoenix actually) and so high on the worst potter film's list tell me that people may just expect an action film be all about battles and fire cracks everywhere (as the two films before this one). that's NOT the measure of an action film's quality. A great action film has to have every action scene very well justified with a backstory, plot and be in coherence with each character's motivations. When a film manages to have thrilling action balanced with this factors then you got a really badass movie, which, despite having only a few action scenes, this film managed masterfully. Quality over quantity. And this is perhaps the most quality film of all the Potter films.

I'm so sorry to y'all who love this movie, but it is so boring! All the other movies are so amazingly made, with the best effects and it is worth more than a million bucks or pounds wherever you live.I couldn't watch the beginning. I love the dementor and other effects but really. I wanna see the main characters in the beginning, not London. Hopefully others will see my point of view cause they should redo this movie.

R you kidding me? This should be number 2 at least. It was full of emotions and excitement. Dumbledore' DEATH was very sad. From the start of the movie it felt like something bad would happen, all that dark mood it was excelent. The soundtrack of this one is incredible it gives me goosebumps. It was perfect even with the romance and everything which was perfect, very funny and entertaining. My favorite, along with DHP2.

SPOILERS (but seriously, if you haven't seen it then what are you doing? )This movie was an excellent transition from a student into a warrior. The earlier films have a youthful imprint but this one is different, it's darker. It really shows Harry's struggles with Dumbledore, the Horcruxes and the Prophecy and coming to terms with the fact that he'll have to be the one to kill Voldemort, or be killed in the attempt.

How can this be on last place? It's my favourite of the movies AND books. I agree that they took out too much of the memories, I would have liked to see more of voldemort's family, was really disappointed with that. BUT it is very well done, funny, dramatic, great soundtrack. The best harry potter movie in my opinion!

ATTENTION SPOILERS IN THIS COMMENT. I'm not sure why this one is 8th, it was by far one of the best. They showed how malfoy was acting suspicious, looking blank half the time, wondering off, etc. It began showing Hermiones feelings for Ron. We learned a little about the horcruxes, but not to much, as the number 7 was focusing on finding them. We go into Slughorns memory and learn a little bit more about Tom Riddle. Katie Bell getting hexed, malfoy and harry fighting in the bathroom, where harry starts using dark spells. And of course dumbledoors depressing death. I loved number 5 but I was to sad because sirius dies. Anyway, it was an excellent film. - dragonfly99

I liked this one a lot because the story really progresses in this movie. You find out about the Horcruxes and the story just propels itself from there on out. But this movie is just my favorite because after you've watched all of the movies, and know what happens, this one just gives you all the feels.
