Mayu has a lovely design based off of Gothic Lolita fashion, that's both "dark" and "cute". Her voice is very cute, without being so high it's annoying, like Miku's can be in some songs (Miku does of course, have some very good songs, but she's not always tuned very well). Mayu's voice also sounds very realistic to me. The premise of her being a yandere is interesting as well...it's nice to see a vocaloid with an actual set "personality" so to speak. All in all, Mayu is a great Vocaloid, though, it is a shame she only has a Japanese voice bank. - Mer_de_Tristesse

I agree with you. The Girl Locker Below, Elsa-Maria, ELLIE, all amazing songs! I love that she actually has a personality, but I really wish that she had more voicebanks like a V4X or an English, maybe even a Korean! Plus I love her design. She reminds me of Kanato Sakamaki in a way (probably because they both carry a stuffed animal everywhere). And I love her hair, so rainbow! I'm even listening to her while writing this. Sakasa Bohyou no Neomaria is really amazing! I like that Akuno-P made it more synthesized instead of classical (tell Shu I'm sorry I don't really like classical music that much, unless it's Mothy or some other type of Owata-P song). Plus she needs a LOT more fanart. Her outfit and hair just go together! But I wish her boxart had her holding her axe, as well as the other Vocaloids holding their character item (unless it's too big, like Rin once had a road roller before getting oranges as her character item). There's many Vocaloids out there, and not all of them are Japanese (Ex: UNI and SeeU are Korean, Luo Tianyi and Yuezheng Ling are Chinese, etc). I think Mayu needs more love (I also ship her with Tei. Yanderes ^w^) - KagamineLenandRin
