Joseph Morgan is one of the best actors on the CW period. Also, it's great to have a character to hate on one show and root for in another. I could go into detail on why Klaus is such an amazing character but I think most of it is pretty obvious. The most interesting character is a grey one, and whilst he may be a darker shade of grey he certainly is not completely evil.

Firstly, Joseph Morgan's acting is just on point. He plays every layer of Klaus with such intensity you actually feel every bit of those emotions yourself. Joseph is so intelligent and creative that having so little materiel from the books to go on he made Klaus into a complex character to begin with. And he is the most attractive man I know of, I don't think after watching Joseph anyone would be able to take that place.Secondly, thanks to first Joseph's portrayal (Julie herself admired that the first bit complexity to Klaus was brought on from Joseph himself) and second TVD writers Klaus is an extremely complex and layered character. He is not a bay boy just for the sake of being bad. his actions are driven by one force or another. Niklaus is like... the ultimate redeemable villain. If a bad guy is always evil it becomes a bit boring. However if said bad guy shows signs of humanity and possible redemption... that's irresistible. His character is the most developed in the whole Vampire diaries/Originals, in my opinion, and it's a fascinating character at that. Epic love and betrayal, countless grabs for power, delusions of grandeur, family trauma and drama, and an insatiable thirst for a reason to go in. Of course it doesn't hurt that he's sexy as hell.

Klaus is a original hybrid! It doesn't get much better than that. Not only is he the first supernatural cross-breed in the world, but he is also one of the most powerful characters in all the vampire diaries universe. He went from mysterious, and scary ancient Vampire, to super powerful, and awesome hybrid with almost no limits!

I love Klaus. His character development is the one who got me really hooked to the show. Klaus can have moments where he does selfish or bad things but most of the time for me, I sympathize with him because of his harsh childhood and life really which is why no matter how much wrong he does, I will also love him. Also as a bonus he is so damn hot! Joesph does an amazing job portraying him and I couldn't imagine anyone but Joseph portraying Klaus.

One of the best characters of all time. Klaus is a sociopath, a complex character with a very strange mind, he's so intellingent but also selfish, the most powerful creature in the whole world and he's really evil.But he's one of the strongest character ever, and if cares about you he will be extremely proctecting. He has become a cold hearted monster because of his past, his family,especially his father never wanted him. I love him so much. to be honest I watch The Vampire Diares only because of him and his simblings Elijah,Rebekah and Kol. Damon and Katherine could never be on his level, just like any other The Vampire Diaries character

Klaus is by far the best character he has such a unique personality compared to the others and his love for his family is crazy! He would do anything to protect them even though he locks them in coffins he bealived it the best decision.. he is the badass of the whole show and continues to be a badass in the next show (The Originals)

From my point of view he is the best. He saw what real pain looks like, he felt what true pain feels like,but although all of that he kept going and still does. His character development is truly amazing. And God, that accent,he is hot as hell.Joseph is a woderfull actor,you can see that in the smallest details.I love Klaus although his behavior is so different, and I think this is one of the reasons I love him more.
