Now here is a game design that I really wish was in more games. I want to see teleporting checkpoint just like in Shadow the Hedgehog or Super Mario Odyssey. Basically, you first play a level and activate a checkpoint. After you activated it you can teleport in any checkpoint you already activated in that level. This system could be really useful when you are looking for secret items or something, and don't want to replay the whole level just for that. For example, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze could have benefited a lot from that system. - Eclipsmon
