These books are not good for children at all! As a child, I hate these books and would way rather read Harry Potter and begin reading Percy Jackson. These books encourage kids to become worse readers, and the books never give you any important details about what's going on. Honestly, it's harder to understand than Harry Potter! Greg is a terrible character, along with his mom, brothers, dad, and Rowley. They aren't the least bit funny and encourage kids to slack off. Perhaps this is making kids dumber?

No, this doesn't deserve to be above Harry Potter. Harry can be an ass sometimes, but he never abused his friends like Greg did to Rowley. Also, you probably only call HP "boring" because it's long.How else could you call a series about a boy who discovers that he's a wizard travels to a world full of witches, wizards, magical creatures boring?! Not to mention HP has a way more intriguing plot than DOAWK. Also, "satanic"? This is 2019. I love HP, I don't go around worshipping Satan. I don't hate DOAWK, in fact, it holds a special place in my heart, you're allowed to like it, but you can't say it's better than HP for dumb reasons. It deserves a place on this list, but not this high. Warrior Cats, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Wings of Fire, Sideways Stories From Wayside School deserve this spot. - RoseWeasley
