Dear America features everyday boys and girls living in specific time periods including Colonial, Revolutionary, Civil War, Post- Civil War etc. while the Royal Diaries focus on notable characters including Queens and Consorts. Diaries that combine historical events and fictional accounts in epistolary form revealing the inner musings of some well-noted figures including Cleopatra among others to encourage reluctant learners to connect to history, which is really not so far removed as we often believe! - Listlover77
