This game has a great combat system, and you can really see how much the upgrades influence combat. The story was interesting, at least to me, but I'm a sucker for any game with the symbiotes in it, plus, we got great web slinging, even if the webs did occasionally attach themselves to the sky. The morality system does make sense, given a symbiote's influence over it's host, and I didn't find any area of the game particularly lacking.Plus, this game had the best spiderman jokes.

The best combat, story, and swing mechanics make this the greatest Spidey game so far. The good/evil choices are fun and the multiple endings add replay value. The story has a few moments that actually branch off depending on your choices. It has a few A list villains but not as many as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game. And this still being the only Spidey game with a new game+ feature really solidifies it as the best Spidey game to date. Oh and Wolverine is in it. That too.

Web of shadows is undoubtedly the best Spider-Man game out there, on par or better than Ultimate. Combat is fluent and captures Spidey's powers perfectly, the original story is really good, choice system, great voice acting, black suit, and a New York that goes through 3 stages as you progress. Also the graphics are absolutely amazing and hold up really well considering that this game came out in 2008

I love this because of the combat, swinging, and multiple endings. The only thing I don't like is Spider-man's voice but I got used to it after a while. This game was funny too I like it when Spider-man and Wolverine fight and then he asks you Spidey trivia. That was so funny. If I were asked what my favorite Spider-man game is I would say Spider-man Web Of Shadows.

Best combat, story, swing mechanics, and multiple endings. I've enjoyed every Spidey game on this list but this is my favorite to go back to. Being the only Spidey game with a new game + doesn't hurt either. For those who don't know just watch the credits to the end when you hit the menu screen and press continue. You will restart the entire game with all your upgrades.

Well I think this game is better than shattered dimensions.1 you can free roam in all of manhattan2 best swinging gameplay ( SD focuses on web zipping3 spider mans model is more realistic (they made amazing and noir's body wider than extremely agile men should be but mistake avoided in WOS)4 the webstrike gameplay is very precise you have to time your shots etc. (the webstrike in SD is really bad there is even a move that kills any light enemy.5 lets not forget the black suit and how the player can easyly swich and mixing combos together.

Awesome game very good quality of graphics the king of spider man games and I think that way better than ultimate spider man, the amazing spider man and spider man 3 spider man web of shadows rules and rocks!
