What I love about Bardock is that up to this point, the Saiyans have been built up as villains - heartless, bloodthirsty killing machines. Bardock, however, realized Frieza's evil and stood up to him to try to avenge his friends and save his planet. He may have failed but he went out like a hero.

This was a great movie. It tells you the story of Bardock, the father of Raditz and Goku and how he was destroyed along with most of the Saiyan race. Bardock is so cool!
