Since I don't count the Bardock or Trunks specials as movies (they're treated as T.V. specials, not feature films), I'd have to consider this one the best. Not only did it have beautiful animation, but it had some surprisingly effective character development from Trunks, and Tapion was a pretty solid character. Admittedly, the ending was a bit of a Deus ex Machina, but it looked pretty damn awesome regardless.

This is in my opinion the second best DBZ movie ever, how it is so low on the list I have no idea. You get to see Trunks get his sword, and Goku's first time using Dragon Fist technique. Goku is always badass but he was exceptionally so in this movie! 10/10 Loved it!

This movie shouldn't be so low. It gave us some of the best character development in Dragon Ball Z, especially the relationship between Trunks and Taipon. It had a good story, buildup, and fight scene at the end.
