I'm from Philadelphia, and my parents don't live together, so my mom (who's not really from PA, she grew up in NJ but was born in Brooklyn because my grandparents used to live there. I'd really rather be there.) lives a suburb town right outside of Philadelphia, and my dad lives in the city. Let me tell you, most people in that town (the suburban town) are rich, and I know this from going to school with their kids, most are just awful people. I want to make more friends, but I don't go out of my circle of friends at all because nobody else is really that nice. Most people have their little clique, which makes them unkind when other people try to join (I have a very good example of that and how PA people are rude, but that's a really long story). Want a place with all, not just some, nice, kind people? Well, get the hell out of here.

I can't speak for Pittsburgh or Philadelphia. Because those places are vastly different than the interior of PA. Especially central PA. People here do not welcome new people, ideas, or ways of thinking. People here are deeply set in their ways and don't like anything that is even thinking about the outside world.

PA Sucks - people are rude and don't have time for anyone but themselves. They are very selfish - state takes all your money in property tax - local tax - sales tax, etc... and still cannot balance a billion dollar budget. Corruption at its finest here. Lancaster County PA

In southwestern pa.washington county I live for 50 years, Since my dad passed away in 1996 the close family has cracked up to everybody for them selves.Back in 96 my well to do mom got real funny toward me and had papers served me to stay away and from what I gather my son (her grandson) and his aunt is only in her will,my wonderful rich cousin (my moms nephew) the chiropractor told me don't come back for adjustments any more even though he adjusts my mom and my 28 year old sons back for free, none of my moms family wants any contact with me, most of my dads side past a away,uh, when I got my divorce my attorney never represented me and gave my wife mostly everything and really wiped my out into financial holocaust,uh, all the production jobs really really suck here really really bad with lying greedy arrogant don't care about employees owners, Ha ha lol shake my head,I recommend ya don't come here if ya don't have to,invest your time wisely some where else, unless I create money I'm ... more

I've noticed since I've moved here that people are incredibly selfish, close-minded, judgemental, and unwelcoming from this PA. I'm from southern California and it is totally day and night as far as kind and caring people go. I want to move back to California as soon as I get the chance.
