I am from the grand "Northern California" 43 years born and raised. Country livin...UNTIL...movie stars moved in. Followed were 6, 7 story high rises where I usta go catch frogs an pull off the legs of pollywogs. Riding my bike ALL overy town, gotta be in before the stree lights came on. As soon as the land was cluttered and started to look like LA. I was heartbroken. So I packed up and moved to Indiana. Talk about going from the frying pan to the fire. It is SO BEAUTIFUL here. Why is everyone so angry? Oh, I didn't realize that "The Good Ole Boys" was a real thing. Talk about straight up ignorant and STUPID. Ya, it still is slander. It's also bullies who grew up to just bully women. It's cool. Lawyers are catching on finally out here.

Moved out of state in 05 had to come back for work and education in 2010. Spent seven years trying to complete college due to the very poor attitudes towards employees improving themselves. I can say Central Indiana has been a poor decision in moving here. In the 33 years I lived here, Michigan/Indian borderline has been the most friendly and out-going part of this state.

I am from Indiana but currently living in Jersey. I can't wait to get back to Indiana, because the people on the East Coast are so rude, snobby and unkind. Maybe the people who think Hoosiers are rude is because, they live in one of the snobby cities in Indiana, such as Carmel, Fishers, Avon and a few other ones. The people who live in these cities are very rude. For the most part, Hoosiers are very kind and respectful.

Since moving here a few years ago, I have been almost broad-sided, by a man running a red light, he chased me down and told me I need to have My car taken away! I have been shoved out of line at a local gas station by a man that was behind me in line, all because he was" in a hurry to get back to work"(thus shoving me so hard I fell to the ground). When you ask a question, or make a simple statement people are apparently preoccupied with other thoughts so they say you asked/said something entirely different, when you correct them because that is not what you said/ asked they get mad and try to turn it around to make you feel stupid though they actually should have been paying more attention to what you were asking/saying. The cashiers in any local business do not say "hi, goodbye or kiss my *ss" where I come from this could actually cost you a job, because without your customers you do not have business there fore would not have a pay check! Moved to Indiana from out of state, that was our mistake. Hoosiers are the least friendly people, I mean if you are from the South, or anywhere that people can look you in the eye, do not even drive through this state. Horrible, rude, and ugly scenery unless you are close to Lake Michigan or in Brown County.

Indiana is the rudest most selfish and uncaring state I have ever been in. I lived there for one year and at first chance got the hell out and do not intend to ever go back again. I can say I met 2 people there who I will stay in touch with. I have no desire to ever see the rest of the people I met.

I moved to back to Indiana from Michigan hoping to find work and complete a college degree. I relearned that my fellow Hoosiers have become down right hateful and employers seem to Target anyone improving themselves. It is sad to see Hoosiers acting this way.

I live in Indiana and it's an extremely negative place to live. Everyone here is pissed because they live here. It's always cloudy and ugly as can be. The winter here is just cold and brown outside because we get snow maybe once or twice a year. It's just terrible.

Yes, you are right. There are a lot of rude people in Indiana. I have lived here most of my life and had to put up with them. I wish I could afford to move. Tell me somewhere better to go. A lot of people here say some of the meanest things to each other. Makes me ashamed to be a Hoosier.

I find jerky people out in Indiana in the big cities, primarily on the road where they'll make suicidal cuts in front of other cars.Suburban and Rural people are usually pretty nice, just don't talk about politics around them, because then they'll turn Redneck on you.
