I will never forget how toxic this fanbase has become when Byleth was announced as the latest addition to the Smash roster. The fanbase is absolutely terrible in terms of community. Some members are actually friendly but are glossed over as the minority of the fanbase because the majority of it is just pissy little fanboys whining about the characters (especially *certain* female characters being clones, or being weak, or boring, just a pathetic excuse to bash on most characters while giving undeserving praise to others that can be just as bad), the game mechanics, or the nostalgia of Melee/Brawl and how it was quotthe greatest game ever.quot I can't deny how horrible the fanbase is that you can't even voice your opinion without them harping on your ass like a pack of wild vultures, and a lot of those fans are adults in their mid 20's or early 30's.
