This movie was great but I'm sure the plot twist was great and the background looks astonishing. I actually watched The Book Of Life back in the day but it's almost a rip-off.Well, not a rip-off.Book Of Life has different plots and perspective of the main character (forgot his name). It also has romance on that movie. In Coco, the character (Miguel) was more focused on his dreams of becoming a musician and find his star who turned out to be a relative but it was revealed that the star's friend was a TRUE relative who wrote the song and just murder him with poison to take his song he wrote for the titular character. Yeah, that's the plot twist like Charles Muntz from Up. There is no romance but it focus on music and the plot.The city of Afterlife was very beautiful that I just die to visit there. I'm sure Heaven was far more beautiful than this Afterlife.I'm sure the songs in Coco was great. This deserved to be out of the Trump Wall for being the best movie ... more

I couldn't really tell that this was going to be a rip-off for The Book of Life because I've never seen it. I watched Coco for the first time in theaters and it was amazing. The animation was absolutely stunning (there were SKELETONS that were beautifully designed) and the characters playing guitar had their fingers actually look like they were playing guitar. The Land of the Dead also looked absolutely beautiful. I love its message about family and I loved the characters. More of this please Pixar. - PhoenixAura81

I hope me and my family can go see it in theaters during Thanksgiving break. I haven't seen a Pixar movie in a long time, and Coco is sure to be a phenomenal hit. I saw an advanced screening of this movie, and it was amazing! It's way better than Spiderman: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Both of those movies are good, but Coco was the prefect mix of creative and heartwarming. I almost cried in the theater. I genuinely can't wait to see this movie again.

This movie is amazing.The music, characters, design, animation, story all touch well in this I can tell you.The only problem is that I was watching a pirated version (I bought the DVD from a nearby dvd store). While the video isn't too bad, the sound can be difficult to understand at times I can even hear some crying during one scene in the movie.Regardless. I give this 10/10 stars, This is definitely one of my top favorite animated movies this year! This should be higher! - Neonco31

My aunt actually worked on the Book of Life, so I was worried Coco would copy from it. I was pleasantly surprised to find an original and moving storyline with characters that were dynamic and relatable. My favorite Pixar movie!-KyubeyFuel
