I was super excited to finally watch it on dvd since it got super good reviews online, boy was I disappointed with the end result. It's so forgettable and boring that I didn't even realize Caesar died at the end after watching it. The action is boring, that child does absolutely nothing to carry the plot, and there was barely any action to begin with. I have no idea where the good reviews are coming from. There wasn't even any war in it at all, just a group of people fighting a group of apes that should've all been killed off at the opening scene. Over half the movie is just apes stuck at some slave camp, and that wasn't even the low point of this snoozefest. The finale was lazy, and they didn't even bother giving the Colonel a name. This is nowhere NEAR best movie of 2017. - Midevilnight

#12? Below Justice League and Episode VIII which aren't out yet? Really?A much better war film than Dunkirk, I thought. The characters are incredibly written, and the CGI is once again astounding.
