I totally disagree with the (opinions) below. I was born and raised in Kentucky, one of the most racist states in America, so moving to Atlanta was like being freed from slavery. Therefore, I think it depends on your previous experiences. As for the comments accusing blacks of being racism, that's ridiculous by definition, because black people do not posses the economic wealth required to conspire racism. I think to proper term is 'discriminate', and yes, black people do discriminate against each other, but that's not different from any other races, and its mostly based upon social differences like, income, religion, goals, etc... All people base their relations on superficial things. My pic for (least) racist, (and I'm referring to white supremacist) I choose Georgia. But, then again I've only lived in 4 states in my 50 years, so my opinions could change.

I am a native of Georgia. It is the most racist of anywhere I have visted or lived. I live in Atlanta and I work in Atlanta and it's suburbs. It's just a terrible city to live in and the state of Georgia is not racially tolerant at all. Please don't move to any part of Georgia thinking that it's a great place for African American people. Your children will be treated badly in school and you will be confronted with racism more often than brushing your teeth. My husband and I went to Grad School in D. C in the 90's and should have never come back to Atlanta.

I moved to Atlanta thinking that it would be a great place for a young black male that's trying to make something out of his life, but I was wrong this state. Of GA is the worst places I have ever lived in =my life, and I lived in SC most of my child hood. The white people hate you and other blacks are jealous of you. Only come here if your rich and don't have to deal with school or working..

I'm a born and raised Georgian and I am finally looking for a place to move. In the rural areas its traditonal White/Black racism, but in metro Atlanta it's not the problem of Whites being racist towards Blacks but Black on Black racism and that is the worse kind of racism! After 40 years I've had enough and looking for a place to move.

I agree with the previous posts. I am a former resident of Illinois and have been living in GA for five years. It's unbelievable how many blacks are so racist against other blacks here. What is so strange to me? I get along well with international people, but not my own race. It's time to relocate!
