I lived in Miami, Cuban decent and moved to NW Arkansas in 2006. Met my white wife and been married and living here ever since. At first, thought most of the looks were because I am tan and tall. Would get the nasty stares but mostly from the older generation. That all changed in November 2016. The presidential election has given whites the right to be hateful again. I have been called an "Fn" Mexican at a store. The same store and aisle where a woman video taped an encounter with a racist woman and posted it on FB recently. The rest of this state is a pile of garbage where I would never live. But I thought this area in the NW corner was different. Its, not.My wife was recently promoted and we have to move to the Seattle area which is #3 least racist on this list. can't wait.
