FOB has shown their versatility by staying on the top of the charts since 2005, and returned from their hiatus with a #1 album. While most pop punk bands struggle to fill a smaller venue, FOB is selling out arenas. The band went from Pete and Patrick writing most of the songs to the whole band working together to are their new music. Patrick Stump hits notes that make me shiver and his voice is great live. I know a lot of old fans say they've sold out, but really it's just them growing and changing as people. They also do awesome collaborations with a wide variety of artists outside of their genre (if you haven't listened to Make America Psycho Again stop what you're doing and go listen now). Jay-z, Kanye, Wiz Khalifa, Timberland, Steve Aoki, the list goes on. If I could relive the 2005 Warped tour every summer, my life would be awesome. In a time where most bands are irrelevant after one hit song, they are still going strong and I hope they never stop.

Fall Out Boy is my absolute, most favourite band ever. And I don’t even care that that’s incorrect English. Everything they’ve ever made is absolutely beautiful and amazing and brilliant and I could go on for days. Their music has helped reach out to all kinds of people from all around the world and have therefore created one of the nicest communities ever. Their lyrics are meaningful, their music really catchy (trust me, they‘re stuck in your head all day) and they’re just genuinely nice people. Basically, go listen to them now.

My favorite band of all time. The greatest emo pop punk band to date. Unlike many of the other bands on the list, Fall Out Boy continue to dazzle us with top 20 hits like 'Uma Thurman" and "Centuries", even though I wouldn't classify those as pop punk, they were still hugely successful. And to be honest, I hate All Time Low! Are you serious? FOB should be number 4! All Time Low are just an older version of 5SOS, whom I also hate. In conclusion, FOB is the true number 4 band!

They turned me into this genre of music. I know their music isn't pop punk anymore, today. But I feel thankful to them for made me know how to shake my head!...and scream. They're my first band so I'm really new for this. But I love all of their music. So many I didn't like at first, but now I love it. Where Is Your Boy? Is the single greatest Pop Punk song of all time, the only other songs which compete are What's My Age Again? And All The Small Things, both from Blink-182. These 2 are the 2 best Pop Punk bands. Don't get me started on Sugar, We're Going Down. I only didn't mention it because it isn't 100% Pop Punk, it's more like 60% Rock, 40% Pop Punk.

Fall Out Boy is definitely my favorite band, and would probably be higher on this list if they we're a little more PUNK and just a little less POP... If you guys believe they should be higher, like I do, then check out Watchmojo's Top 10 pop punk bands where, spoiler alert, FOB lands @ number 3 where I believe they should be in comparison to other pop punk bands.

Honestly, the vast majority of the bands in the top 10 on this list have been largely influenced by fall out boy. Along with blink-182 and green day, fall out boy created pop punk and epitomizes the entire genre in their music. There is no way pop punk would have grown to become what it is now without them.

Fall Out Boy is so perfect. They have helped me through some times. :3 and They rock. FOB is my favorite band in the world. Grand Theft Autumn and Sugar, We're Going Down are two of the greatest and most regongnizable pop punk songs. Fall Out Boy at least deserves to be in spot two. Second only to Blink-182. :3

Fall Out Boy are the best pop-punk band EVER! Whilst I am a fan of Green Day, they are more full-on punk than pop-punk, but FOB are the most unique pp band there is. No other punk singer ever is even half as good as Patrick and no other band of any genre have lyrics as good either! They are the best! show more comments darr;
