Apple Computer does make the highest quality computers out there, the are made with aluminum uni-body engineering (one piece of aluminum). For video or photo editing or any kind of graphic design, or "general use, " Mac is definitely supreme. I'm not even talking about specs (though with any Mac, the specs are great), the operating system is just so clean and easy to work with. I used PC since the mid 90's. I switched to Mac in 2005. I have not had any issues with my iMac, my MacBook Pro, my iPhone or any of my iPads. I had thousands of crashes with PC. Viruses and hard drive castraphic failures with every PC I have ever owned. The shortest was 6 month with a PC laptop. The longest was a PC desktop at 3 year before total failure. I have had my iMac 24" since 2008 and the only issue I have had in 5 years was with my disc drive. Took to Mac repair shop and they fixed for free. That was 1 yr 9 months after purchase and extremely heavy use. MacBook Pro purchased in 2009, no break downs and one crash while running a windows program and no viruses. IPad and iPhone owned every model since second gen. And never had a single issue at all. Programming, virus, battery go bad... Nothing. If all you can afford is PC? Then stick with it! I love the quality and look of all apple computers, my sister and dad both have one and I always use them. They rarely overheat and they have a great and clean layout so its easy to use. I don't like PC because they seem to be much slower than a good old trustworthy apple computer. I do lots of video editing and it is easy to upload footage into lightroom or iPhoto and transfer it to adobe premier for editing. I use mostly all apple products so it is easy to upload music to my iPhone and iPad when still editing pictures or video footage. It is a great computer for multitasking and design.

I have a dell windows 7 computer but it does not compare to an apple. Apples are way better. Using it right now. I have a windows and a iMac. Great for gaming which is what I do. For people who like to relax with it and do stuff its also great for that. I have an iPhone and other apple devices so I'm used to apples. But that's not the reason. Great for work situations. I believe that everyone loves the simplicity and cleaness that all Apple products are. Even though that windows has taken a giant leap forward, it is still like Android, nothing has changed except the surface. I have been using both Mac and PC for a long time, and something really bother me is that Microsoft office crushes a lot on my windows 10 computer, and iWork has never crushed on my Macbook air running El Capitan, something notable is that my windows computer costs 1000 bucks more than my Mac, and it still cannot guarantee your user experience. For all things work, I would definitely go for an apple. It is way more reliable, especially in media. I have a recording studio, and have worked on both mac and PC, and though both work, I would not trade mac for PC ever there. For gaming, of course, choose a PC. That is what rants are mostly about, but hey, remember, mac's purpose was never gaming. Mac crashes way less, has less viruses, error issues, better update system, better interface (personal preference), looks and feels more professional, and has a more solid OS. The build feels and actually is superior.
