I was born in Kansas but raised mostly I'm southern California. However I use to go back to Kansas every summer and have unfortunately been there in the Winter. Kansas has hot humid sunmers almost as bad a Florida. I went to Cuba two times and felt like I was in Kansas in the summer with all the humidity. Then comes the Winter early in Kansas and you freeze your buns off. Not to mention the mosquitos which are like a plague. Oh and the tornadoes and even earthquakes now.

Aww... I lived in Derby, KS which is just south of Wichita for many years. I loved it there! It is clean and the people are friendly and we always found things to do. Can't say much for the landscape as far as no real natural beauty other than maybe the Flint Hills but still a wonderful state!
