One of the best platformers ever made! So much different gameplays, best graphic, great soundtrack, lots of collectables, epic boss battles, great story, the best game of the entire series! If one day someone is going to do a real sequel to this game it should be a mix between this, Crash 2, Crash 1 all in free-roaming and in multiplayer also online. That's the only game that can beat this masterpiece! Enough with the Titans/Twinsanity crap, I want Crash Bandicoot 4 (a real one, not The Wrath of Cortex)!

Crash 1 was pretty good but hasn't age very well. Crash 2 was great but it was rough around the edges like the atrocious jetpack stages and the god-awful backtracking. Crash 3 took everything that worked, perfected it and added plenty of well-executed variety like the vehicle stages which thanks to good level design make the imperfect controls more than tolerable. the time trials were a fantastic addition and a fresh and unique way of extending replayability and game time. couple this with your standard crash bandicoot gameplay only three times superior than it's predecessors (platforming, animal riding and the new underwater stages which are actually enjoyable compared to most video games with underwater levels) and you have the perfect recipe for a near masterpiece. without a doubt in my mind this is one of the best 3d platformers I've ever played (a very rare case where I actually agree with watchmojo).

Of the 3 Crash games I've played, (thankfully all great ones) this is definitely the best. While Crash 2 had great music and is a great platformer, expanding on the original, and while CTR was loads of fun in multiplayer, this is just the best. By far the most unique in the franchise, not one stage felt uninteresting.

Best of the best! This game has everything, great story, great gameplay, great level desgin! I grew up with this awesome game and its far better than Call of Duty and any other fps game.
