I have a couple of reasons for Ridley being one of my favourite video game characters of all time1. His appearance. He looks just intimidating. What better arch-nemesis to have than a fire-breathing space pirate dragon with a spear for a tail.2. Unlike most Nintendo villains, he has killed and tortured millions of innocent lives.3. He never stays down. He is so persistent and determined to kill Samus that he has come back from the dead multiple times. (I wonder if has his own collection of phoenix downs)4.
