And don't even get me started on the fandom. People use Five Nights at Freddy's. All you gotta do, is make something that has NOTHING to do with Five Nights at Freddy's, randomly copy and paste animatronics into the video, and boom. A ton of subscribers. And the ships, oh lord the ships. If they didn't exist, the world would be a much better place. Don't people know that it's kinda strange to ship ROBOTS? Guess not. Anyways, Five Nights at Freddy's is too popular, and quite frankly too rushed. Four games in one year? Now that my friend, is something called no effort. Five Nights at Freddy's is taking over our world. I won't be surprised if there is merchandise, a T.V. show, a movie, a book, an anime, and so on.

Now, first, I can understand why people like the first game. There are times when the suspense and unpredictability mixed with a sudden jump-scare can be scary. The idea of killer animatronics is original and is done decently. But now, it just feels like most sequels are just cash-grab rehashes of the original. The animatronics are always the same, just with slight design alterations. Same goes for the concept. Oh, and there is always one small alteration in mechanics, so people will immediately attack you if you even DARE to say that the games are repetitive. But by God, the worst aspect of FNAF is the fandom. It seems that everything even slightly horror-related will immediately have a horde of rabid fangirls attacking it and raping it with atrocious fan art that erases ANY scare factor whatsoever. It's not the worst game, by far, but PLEASE. THERE IS BETTER STUFF OUT THERE. THERE ARE BETTER MODERN HORROR GAMES OUT THERE. STOP BEATING A LONG-DEAD HORSE.

This game has so many plot holes and yet so much hype, where do I begin.. A problem I have with this game is that it gives you little to no motivation on why you should continue going to that same job. There's always another job you can go to earn money, The characters are lazily made, you can clearly see Bonnie is just a recolor of Freddy, just with bigger ears and he's purple. And the fandom, SWEET JESUS THE FANDOM. Everybody just bows down to their lord and savior Smike, and half of the people who make unoriginal animations for it are only famous because of the hype. So they just jump on the band wagon and whaddya know? 1 million views! I'm not going to say any names, but some of you know who the people that I'm speaking of, ugh. I really hope the third is his last, and I honestly have no idea how this isn't at least in the top 30.

Looking for the most overrated game ever? Look no further. This game oozes overratedness. Think of Night Trap, without the traps. All you do is look at cameras and prey the power holds off for more that five seconds. There have been FOUR games in the past year PLUS a new spin off series by the same developer (not even discussing the fan made games). The game is boring and the plot is too confusing to understand. The game has no redeeming factors. This game makes ET and Sonic 06 look good. The graphics are OK but graphics aren't everything. To make stuff worse, there is DLC, a new movie, and a book. First off, DLC for this poop. Second off, all movies up to this point suck and this game sucks so how will the movie be good. Finally, the only good game with a book series on it is Halo and no one really cares about the books (as good as they are). Five Nights has terrible game play, terrible plot, and everyone loves it. So, I have never been a fan of these games. Sure, they made for good jumpscares and freaky characters, but I HATE horror games. So, people might think I was an idiot for playing this if I don't like horror games, but the thing is, I didn't play these games. I didn't play any of them. Not 1, or 2, or 3 or 4, or even FNaF World. But the reason I find them overrated is because of how they took over the internet. Every single gaming channel I watch (And I watch a lot) did at least 5 videos on these games. And the lore, too. I am very, very, very well aware that this is supposed to be cryptic, and that it is fun to figure the story. But, when the fandom goes too far, that is where I find it overrated. And, even Scott Cawthon himself knew and probably still knows this! Just read his post on whether or not he thinks Silver Eyes is canon! This game is just about to fall into the underrated garbage pit. Back when it came out, everybody at my school was playing it and talking about it! Even my sister loved it! Ugh, for god's sake, it was EVERYWHERE on YouTube! People kept on making fanarts and fanfiction about it and that trend just couldn't stop! This game has had three sequels, a movie, merchandise, and a spinoff! To me, that's quite a lot of FNaF crap. But this was back in 2014/2015. Very few people nowadays aren't out about it anymore, thank Jesus. I just couldn't get away with this crap! If this franchise ever makes a comeback, the crappy fanbase (which is way smaller than it used to be) will strike again.

THIS GAME.This has to be the most repetitive, stale, and overrated game of all time. The supposedly "unique gameplay" that everyone boasts about is actually really boring once you get into the game. You know how in games like Mario and Sonic each level is a different environment and has a unique layout? Yeah you won't see any of that in this game. EVERY NIGHT IS THE SAME DAMN THING WITH A HIGHER DIFFICULTY. There is nothing to salvage from this game. Hell, it's not even that scary. It might have been at first, but now the internet got a hold of it and every single post on deviant art is either "soopur kyoot fokse x chika! " or some comic about the security guard. Just leave this thing to die, if it even CAN die. And don't even get me started on the sequels!

So, the other day, I went to my friend's house. We are huge video game fans, but I hate horror games and he likes them. So, as I've done before, I say, "Let's go play Mario Kart! " or, "Let's go play Minecraft! " or, "Let's go play Undertale! " Etc. But, instead, he says, "No, let's play FNaF! It'll be fun! " And guess what? It wasn't fun. At all. It was terrifying at first, but things got very old very quickly. I was bored and tired of it. And so, when I went home, I looked on YouTube to watch some gaming videos. And, what do you know, ALL of my favorite gaming channels were overrun by this game! I texted to my friends that this game was extremely overrated, and they got very mad very fast. There were so, so, so many people who posted things on YouTube saying how amazing, scary and deep this game was. So, I slammed my laptop shut.

Ugh. Five Nights at Freddy's is taking over the world, and I hate it. Everyone talks about it. When I want to go a simple website, people are talking about that stupid Five Nights at Freddy's. I once went onto the YouTube community on Miiverse to see what's going on, but guess what? You guessed it. Five Night's at Freddy's. I shouldn't have voted for Minecraft. I should've voted for this. How is Five Nights at Freddy's only 57? Pokemon is above this, and it's not nearly talked about as much at this.
