This album holds not one, not two, but THREE songs I would consider to be among Alter Bridge's 10 greatest songs (Cry of Achilles, Fortress and Calm the Fire). But it doesn't stop there. Practically every song on this album has a strong, powerful identity not only among the tracks on this album, but AB's entire discography. As a result, nothing on the album feels like filler material (to the extent that Alter Bridge ever puts out "filler material").The songs on this album (even aside from the aforementioned big 3) hold up very nicely to the plethora of hits that Blackbird contains. This album is every bit as good as Blackbird, but with a far higher "floor" in terms of song quality. - ShatteredHeaven
