The pinnacle of the Forza franchise and the culmination of all the best features from previous games. This iteration had everything the the series needed with no fluff. It was thorough and sincere. Every Forza game to follow has been in decline with accessibility issues, bad menus, less rewarding driving experiences, and a more monotonous car selection. Forza 4 was truly the best the series has ever offered and it will be extremely hard to ever top this. Newcomers to the Forza franchise need only to get Forza 4, with Horizon 3 being a good alternative if they prefer open-world.

This was the peak of the Forza franchise and it's only been downhill from here. A massive selection of cars, well-engineered audio (unlike newer games such as FH3 which had about 4 different engine sounds), intuitive menus, rewarding gameplay, realistic-feeling physics, and graphics that still hold up in 2019 on your beat-to-hell xbox 360. No frills or gimicks, no "drivatar" bumper-cars, no half-baked "features," no obnoxious music to distract from the gameplay. Just a pure, distilled celebration of cars and speed.

The only issue is the lack of DLC content availability as most of the old server features are down, however you can still race online, join clubs, and complete the career mode as many times as you want.

This was the last Forza Motorsport to really capture the magic of playing a racing game. The way it handled, the way it sounded and how good it looked. FM4 is definitely the best in the Forza franchise because it had a good physics system (unlike FM7) and a decent amount of cars. Remember Fujimi Kaido? That was in FM4 and you musn't forget all the other tracks as well: Suzuka, Twin Ring Motegi and so on. It was just amazing.
