If a highly praised film maker like Christopher Nolan was attached to Edge of Tomorrow, it would have been the film of the year. Instead Nolan turned to making "clever", overlong, complex, confident and non-nonsensical yak fest films which are praised because they are original and so complicated, viewers are transfixed into feeling they saw something magnificent, when in reality it was just a unrefined mess.
