Meh it felt a little to generic by the half of 2nd act. Although Darren Aronofsky does give great direction in this film, it feels too much like a Hollywood blockbuster than a new take on Noah, plus I've sort of seen similar aspects (though more extreme) in the Jon Voight Mini Series. - Drewstar

Yes I am very surprised too. If you were looking for the biblical accounts yes I can see how your disappointed because they didn't teach the view they took with this movie from exclusively from the bible there are other books that they reached out for. We need to study and research all sources of material not everything is what we were taught. Just look at the movie and see where they were heading. Start with the book of enoch and maybe you can get a glimpse of where they were heading
