I live in East Tennessee and the people are nice. I lived in CT, MA and most of NorthEast is very rude people. I lived in China where racism and discrimination against nonChinese is open and patriotic and receives full support from society. Same with Koreans. Both Koreans and Chinese look down on outsiders and think they are a Master Race, same as Nazis. When those CN KO races move somewhere else they bring their racism. When I moved to E Tennessee I thought people here are so nice. The best looking white people I ever saw were in USA NorthEast but they are so rude to each other that there is an informal industry of dating services to help these jerks do the simplest thing: say hi. How hard can that be? For them, near impossible. They get lonely and more rude.

I grew up here. The schools are terrible. Kids just label other kids as the so called weird kids. And then the teachers get in on it. Every teacher just insults the so called weird kids and it's disgusting. In other words, the teachers like to get involved with student drama. I'm now in Utah and moving here was the best decision we've ever made.

I have lived in 3 different regions in middle to east TN over the past 10 years and in all 3 places, I find most of the people to be viscerally rude. My most recent move was to Cookeville, where I bought a farm a year ago and hoped to finally set some roots and raise my kids. Less than a year later, Im already looking to leave the state entirely. Folks throw trash in my yard on a regular basis, are generally passive aggressive, and lack any empathy. Good ole boys drop 80% of their income on booze and fuel and spend the whole weekend hot rodding while drunk well into the early morning hours (police - or the law - do nothing). The redneck pansies always have a friend riding shotgun so they have someone to back them up when they inevitably initiate an unnecessary conflict with random strangers. I travel a lot for a living and can say - although not as in your face as much as a place like Cambridge, MA - folks from TN should absolutely rank near the top of the most unfriendly ... more
