When I was little I hated reading until my mother gave me one of the books in the series. Because of how funny it was I COULD NOT STOP READING THESE BOOKS! I have read every book at least 4 times. I feel like these books are the greatest books for kids who don't like reading. AND. JEFF KINNEY a huge author refrenced Dav Pilikey in one of his Diary of a wimpy kid books. These amazing books should go down in history as an American classic. And being an American classic it got even MORE attention. These books are great and I hope people know that.

I know it's on here for the fact that it's based on gross out humor, but this first novel was pretty tame when it came to all that, and while I love this book this is easily the weakest in the series which is actually a good thing as It shows just how much better these books got. I love the stupidity and it's an American classic, which even got the attention of Jeff Kinney as he references it in one of his Wimpy Kid novels. Solid book. - EvanWellens

You know I like these but there are many mistakes Dav Pilkey has didLike "Where were you at Chapter 15 we needed you" to "Hey, your not suppose to make comics didn't you read Chapter one"and he makes George and Harold change the signs and make Melvin Sneedly so rude and a tattle taleand Mr. Krupp is a mean principal and Ms. Ribble turns into Wedgie Woman, and Mr. Krupp and Ms. Calculator laugh so loud when Harold is going to flunk the fourth grade, and Melvin turns into Bionic Booger Boy and he hates tissues. And the kids are wearing umbrella's.1 more thing Mr. Krupp only likes Melvin Sneedly, cause they both hate George and Haroldsee Dav Pilkey is the worst writer ever.
