How dare this not be number 1?! This... this is making me genuinely angry. This game is so incredibly deep and beautiful (minus the whole decapitate orcs thing, even though that has a beauty of its own as well). The story is out-of-this-world amazing, the characters are wonderfully created and brought to life, and the voice acting is absolutely splendid. This game has a way of making you feel the emotions of the characters: for example, when Talion's family died I was very sad. Also, Ratbag. There's no beating Ratbag. The open-world technique works incredibly well for a game like this, and to reimagine Mordor this way... it's incredible. I could go on for days about how amazing this game is. There are really no negatives besides the fact that some of the main missions are rather slow and uninteresting. This is an incredible game, if you haven't played it already you really should. The sequel isn't quite as good (but I still think it's also an incredible game) but I will love the ... more
