It refers to the period of Disney after Walt Disney died, but before the Disney Renaissance in 1989. The movies released between 1970 (The Aristocats) and 1988 (Oliver Company) are all part of it. What's sad is that most of these movies aren't even bad, all except one: The Black Cauldron (1985). But people are stupid enough to think that just because The Black Cauldron was bad, that ALL the movies in this period were bad. That's yet another example of why I hate different opinions. - Disney1994
