It's my favourite Disney sequel! Captain Hook was more evil in this and Peter Pan even showed more development rather than being the brat he was in the first movie. Jane was also a rather interesting character, showing that it is never too early to grow up and you should still try to find your childhood. The only things I didn't like were the use of pop songs and replacing the crocodile with a giant octopus. I get it, back in the day, pirates were scared of the Kraken but in this case, it just didn't work with this movie. There's just something about the crocodile. The crocodile actually represented death and the clock ticking was the amount of time Hook had left to live. So in a way, the crocodile meant death and time. Hook is a grown up and he is a world where you never grow up. Because he's grown up, Neverland doesn't want him alive, so the crocodile is trying to kill him by devouring him, finally keeping the cycle where you never grow up.
