I don't get how she isn't number 1, she is hands down the best character in arguably the most iconic book series of all time. Harry and Ron wouldn't last through the first book if it weren't for her, proving the simple greatness her character is way beyond. She is THE role model when it comes to strong and intelligent women all around the world. She isn't just a genius, though. She's extremely loyal and incredibly brave. Everyone can learn from Hermione Granger, and so many are inspired by her.
