The city is beautiful but I hated my trip to the city because of it's people. Very rude, cold and unpolite unless you are blond like them. I went to Malmo and Stockholm and Oslo and the people are sparkling happy and talkative, pride to help, to give an information... As a tourist I felt the racism and xenophobia in Copenhagen several times in one week as I never felt even just one time while visiting Russia for one entire month for example. I was counting so much the days to get out of the country that I changed my plans and went for 3 days to Malmo by train, just to get out of there. Was a great decision I made, loved Malmo people... I imagine how it would be with me in a daily basis to live in Copenhagen. By the way I am (or I thought I was) European (I'm Portuguese), with white skin but black hair and eyes. For just 2 times I found myself needing information and no one even stopped to listen to me with a city map in the hand. In the restaurants and coffee I went, I found the same, ...more Copenhagen has everything from clean air, shopping, art to wild nightlife. The city never sleeps and contains beautifull danish people in it No Danish people are probably the most kind people in the world even though I'm not danish I'm a tourist(13) year old I thought that if u wanna see smiles then go there. Just meet the local residents and then you'll see how great they are and those rude people u see are tourists as well who come for vocations and then stay there for longer illegally How could CPH not make it to the top 10?! This is the most awesome capital in the whole world!
