But I somewhat agree with you about Speed Metal Bands - most of the bands who play speed metal are either power metal or thrash metal bands. It's because speed metal is between power metal and thrash metal: thrash metal is power metal+punk, so speed metal is like thrash metal without punk. Give a listen to Majesty by Blind Guardian - it's very fast and it's heavier and more aggressive than power metal but it doesn't have punk and because of that it's less abrasive and more melodic than thrash. - Metal_Treasure

@germshep24 - I'd like to politely correct you: Slayer are nowhere near speed metal. Speed metal doesn't contain hardcore punk while Slayer music does have a lot of hardcore punk. It's also debatable whether Dragon Force are speed metal though they play fast - their music lacks aggressiveness and heaviness to be speed metal. - Metal_Treasure

You are correct, the bands I have listened to that are considered speed metal are early work of Angel Dust, Megadeth, and annihilator, the band you mentioned, and Eliminator's later work other than those are bands like Gamma Ray, Primal fear, and Helloween and though these bands are labeled as speed they only have a handful of songs - germshep24
