I may be a little biased because I do live in Toronto, but I've been to both Toronto and New York City. I think that both cities are quite similar, New York City has Times Square and Toronto has Dundas Square. I think that Toronto is a better city because New York City is an island and has limited space so it will not develop much more. Meanwhile, Toronto is a huge city that still is developing and has plenty of space. Comparing the events, things nearby and prices of both cities, Toronto is much more affordable compared to New York City. So overall, I think that Toronto is a much better city.

Toronto, for such a young city, is definitely a city with culture. There are people from all over the world, there are a bunch of different scenes and yet it still feels in some ways like a nice small town despite it being HUGE. Not New York huge but very big in it's own right. There is something to do everyday, tons of job opportunities, and all kinds of different neighborhoods. If you're the kind of person who wants it all, Toronto is your city, trust me. It's very much a city for everyone, no matter who you are, you will find your people.

I am from London, England.Toronto is incredible. I wouldn't know where to start, no city has as many amazing and mind blowing things that Toronto has. It has everything, its cheap, friendly, safe. It has the sights, the lakes, the ever so close landscapes of rural Canada.The only thing London beats it on is the music scene but apart from London and Germany? I would say Toronto has the freshest music scene for underground electronic.I love this city. And so does everybody that's ever come here on holiday.

Yes! I voted for Toronto, Canada because it is really good in business, and sports. The transportation is very convenient like the subway, street cars, buses, and trains. You can even walk alone without any problem. It looks like New York City. The tourists spots are the CN Tower, Center Island, Hockey Hall of Fame, Ripley's Aquarium, and the stadiums like the Air Canada Centre and the Rogers Centre. People there are nice too. This is why my vote goes to Toronto.

Toronto is nothing but a an unpopular and not to mention ugly city that tries to hard to be like New York. But guess what it never will be. Sure Toronto has the C.N Tower, but NYC as... are you ready?.. empire state building, chrysler building, freedom tower, brooklyn bridge, statue of liberty, grand central terminal, broadway, times sqaure, coney island, 432 park avenue, 3 hudson blvd, one57. Amazing city. And so overlooked. May not be quite as great as New York in terms of grit and character but it makes up for it with its welcoming and liveable practicality. I've been to Chicago, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Rome and more amazing world class metropolises but for me Toronto is second only to NYC and deserves more buzz than it gets.

Toronto is, to put bluntly, a more practical New York City. Having been to both, Toronto is a much less hectic city, featuring more natural habitats and less daunting... concrete, I suppose. It's not overwhelming, and the city is accessible with it's transit system. It gives off the vibe of a powerful city without the "trapped" sort of feeling.

I have been to both NY and Toronto. Toronto wins hands down. The people are friendly and polite. There is a district for just about every culture on earth and has one of the lowest crime rates out of any major city in the world. Plus it snows and I love the winter.
