I'm sorry, but why is this book so high on the list? I've read this book and it doesn't compare to the books below it. First of all, Bella is a Mary Sue. She isolates herself from other people and barely does anything, yet everyone fawns over her anyway. She's special for no apparent reason, really. And she can't function at all with her boyfriend and refuses to try to be a normal teenager when he leaves her. When Hermione, Katniss, and Annabeth lose their boyfriends, they continue to fight for what they believe in and try to get them back. Bella just lies there like a zombie and attempts to kill herself.And Edward is almost a century older than Bella, but they can have a relationship because he looks like a seventeen year old.
