I see your point and understand why you may dislike Facebook, but it is one of the very few ways I can stay connected with my family. I moved away from my home-country when I was very little, and only see my family on rare occasions (once every 1 or 2 years, and I stay for at maximum a month). The groups are filled with toxic members (as toxic as YouTube comments). I get unwanted invites to play a game or join a group. Nobody cares about your recent status. Many users have over 1,000 friends, but not all of them are actually friends. They are old friends I met at least once or I got acquainted with them. Then I dont see them again. People drop others from friends list for no apparent reason. I unfriend others because I have no need to contact them again. I made my 1st account back in 2007, then I deleted it afterwards. Then I made a second account, but use it less often. Facebook was fun when I first used it, then I got boring.

Once I accidentally clicked into Facebook and suddenly a huge lag spike pops up and I unintentionally followed a random person, and then QuickPic keeps popping up again and again, it only get better as I restart my phone.
