"Independence March" is Turkey's National anthem (not the first one, it had another melody). It's about Indepence and the war to gain Independence as you can guess from the title. It was composed by Mehmet Akif Ersoy under request of Turkish Goverment in order to increase morale of a nation which has been defeated during most of the wars they fought in the last century and hell yeah it worked! This anthem has one of the best lyrics in the world and a melody which gives goosebumps to most Turkish people.
