A real hard choice to choose this album from the others. To me it's the most homogeneous of all, full of rough power and perfect riffs. In my opinion this is the one of the only led zeppelin albums where every single song was absolutely brilliant, I mean don't get me wrong their my favorite band of all time but this album just seemed the freshest and I love the way its bluesy rock, also I think John Paul Jones' bass playing was probably at its best on this one and his organ solo on 'Your time is gonna come was absolutely epic, favorite songs on it are: Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused and actually what am I saying their all winners, awesome!

3rd in my Led Zeppelin ranking. This album showed the world a new sound in rock n roll. Slick and thick blues inspired Page who displayed the fatter side of guitar riffs and licks. Plant and his soaring vocals, and Bonham and Jones laying down a ridiculous backbone to the 4 man show. While lll and IV are probably their 2 greatest albums in terms of great tracks cover to cover, Led Zeppelin l is for me their most inspirational album. Countless guitarists, vocalists, drummers and bassists listened and still listen to this album and want to try new things. The Beatles were well ahead of their time with the sort of stuff they were doing, but Led Zeppelin are right up there and this album welcomed them to the world wide. Good Times Bad times for me is still one of their best. Black Mountain side, dazed and confused, and communication breakdown are again some excellent pieces of rock history.
