Comfortably Numb is very highly overrated and the only song I truly dislike, nay, hate, on the entire Wall album. The remainder of the album I strongly love and feel that it has 25 out of 26 very melodic and powerfully climactic songs whereas Comfortably Numb is just a dreary and weak song in comparison and yet it is highly overrated and appeals to the masses because it is a mellow sounding and boring track. It is honestly idiotic how this track overshadows all the best songs on the greatest album ever made, such as "another brick in the wall" parts 1-3, "the happiest days of our lives", "empty spaces", "goodbye blue sky", "waiting for the worms", "the trial", "in the flesh", "in the flesh? ", "the thin ice", "goodbye cruel world", "run like hell", "one of my turns", "hey you", "bring the boys back home", "don't leave me now", "is there anybody out there", "Vera", "young lust", "the show must go on", "outside the wall", "mother", "stop", "nobody home" all better tracks for riff and ... more - PrinceZarbon
