Hard choice between 1 and 2. Going Commando had all the great features that come with the sequel to a game (upgradable weapons, more nanotech, Insomniac museum, battle arena, etc. ), but the first game really was classic. The story was the most epic, but what really one me on this one was the levels. Each world was unique and completely different than the one before it. Sheer epicness. Oh, and let's not forget classic Ratchet before he got a personality shift.I didn't like 3 as much as, well, everyone else seems to. There is no question that it was a great game, but it felt a little cheap to me, mainly in appearance (the menus were sort of ugly and boring, the nanotech got turned into a flat bar, the weapons weren't to great, the worlds didn't compare to the ones in the previous two games). - djh101

Absolutely amazing games, this was my childhood in a nut shell. This started everything off and laid the foundations for the entire series. I didn't enjoy 2 as much, not sure why really, 3 is my second favourite behind this one.One thing I will say though, this is my own opinion but I think the original trilogy, 1, 2 3, are much better than the newer ones, Ratchet Clank future.The new remake/reboot on the PS4 is excellent, it mixes all the best things from the original trilogy and blends them perfectly. A great series through and through, well worth a purchase

I like this game the most out of all the Ratchet and Clank games! Well, I haven't played Quest for Booty, Crack In Time, Secret Agent Clank, All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault, and Into the Nexus yet. My No. 2 is Tools of Destruction. Why? I'm old school, meaning I grew up when games were just taking off so the graphics were bad. Back then it didn't matter to us, we wanted a good story. When I played Tools of Destruction the story/gameplay flowed so well I had to stop myself from playing it.

This game is so hard! Loved every moment of it though. I played tools of destructin 1st and crack in time second however the game wher I felt like the storuy was best is this one. I'm not that much of a fan of chosen one stuff (yet I like starwars and lord of the rings). I am currently playing going commando. So I can't imput much but what I can say is that I love this game. The new universe is a breath of fresh air and I love that consumerism is the enemy. This game transends the gap between young and old with hidden messages that both will apreaceate. I love the game so much and shows that old games are the hardest and yet still brilliant. The villain is brilliant and shows the curruption of capitalism. Love this game so much.

I think that the original is the only bad ratchet and clank game for 2 reasons. 1, no strafing makes any combat situation extremely annoying and needlessly complicated. And the bigger point, no upgrades for the weapons means that they become outclassed by the late game ones.

This game should never be behind any of the PS3 games. This is only acceptable in the #1 or #2 spot only to be beaten by up your arsenal. Ratchet Clank in its prime is clearly on the PS2 platform and it ended with Deadlocked. It should only be (in order of make) 3, 1, 2, 4. With flexibility on the number 1 spot
