The dark magician is the jewel of my entire deck without my four copies my deck would be useless ( I know you are only allowed 3 but I don't care much). Sure the dark magician girl is strong and I do have 3 copies myself but it is not stronger than THE ULTIMATE WIZARD IN TERMS OF ATTACK AND DEFENSE. As for beating relinquished Given that I have three copies I know that the Dark Magician combined with eternal soul could destroy relinquished.(ETERNAL SOUL really good card).Besides without it I wouldn't be able to summon my dark paladin. If you want to master one card I recommend the dark magician as it comes with spell and trap cards that work well with it like dark magic attack, eternal soul, Dark burning magic(need the dark magician girl as well.I am one of the best duelists in my class and the dark magician is one of our most highly used cards but to truly use it probably I suggest the dwarf star dragon planeter but you must fill your decks with cards relevant to it.(Works well ... more
